20 · Football camps
No camps this fall. Next ones are planned for Spring 2027.
Saying so plainly is more useful than a booking form that goes nowhere. Position training and the league and 7v7 seasons all continue in the meantime.
Chapter 01
The current status, before anything else
There are no scheduled camps for Fall 2026. The next camps are planned for Spring 2027. That is the academy's own published position and it is the first thing on this page because a parent searching for a camp this month needs the answer, not a brochure.
If a camp is what you specifically want, the useful action is to get on the list now rather than to check back. Call the academy on (972) 269-5188 or email admin@g1footballacademy.com and ask to be told when Spring 2027 dates open. Camp places at a program with this coaching staff do not sit around for long once they are announced.
Camps being seasonal is normal for a youth academy and is not a sign that the program is quiet. League teams, the 7v7 national team and position training sessions all run on their own calendars, and between them they cover most of what a family wants from a camp anyway.

What a G1 camp day contains when they run
A camp at this academy is a compressed version of what the position coaches do year round rather than a supervised play session. Athletes are grouped by position and age, warmed up and conditioned properly, then taken through the same technique work the one to one sessions use: stance and start, releases, footwork, hands, ball security, and the reads that belong to their spot on the field.
The competitive element matters at camp more than in a private hour, because a camp gathers enough athletes to make one on one drills work. A receiver can only find out whether a release actually beats someone by running it at a defensive back who is trying to stop it, and camp is where there are enough of both in one place.
The coaching approach does not change for a camp. It is still connect, correct, reconnect: build the relationship, teach the fix rather than criticise the mistake, then reconnect so the athlete leaves knowing the correction came from care. Across a single intensive day that discipline is what separates a camp a child wants to come back to from one they endure.
Chapter 03
What to do between now and Spring 2027
For most families the honest substitute is position training. It runs through the gaps in the calendar, it is booked by coach with published rates, and it is the same technique work a camp compresses into a day, spread across weeks instead. Coach Crawford is $75 per hour, Alex Marley is $90 per hour for strength and conditioning, and Coach Latson is $100 per hour.
If your athlete wants competition rather than technique, the 7v7 national team is the better answer, with divisions at 8U, 10U, 13U and 16U and a tournament calendar across Texas plus select events in Florida. If they are younger and new to the sport, a league team is the right entry: Kindergarten and 1st grade flag, then tackle at 3rd and 4th grade.
If you are booking for a birthday or a group rather than for development, the events side may be what you actually want. The academy runs a Flag Football Tournament package at $1,500, a College Signing Day at $2,000 and an NFL Draft Party at $3,000, and those are available without waiting for a camp season.
